Teagowns and Textiles
Is home to an abundance of vintage clothing, textiles, accessories, jewellery, etc. and contains 3 large rooms. We concentrate on silks, velvets, chiffons, lames, satins etc., selling a lot of evening wear and wedding dresses.
We cover Georgian to 1960 inclusive, paying more attention to the 20's, 30's and 40's.
In stock we usually have approx. 2000 to 3000 items at any one time, and you need to give yourself a lot of time to look.
Our staff are well versed in vintage and will willingly give you all the help and advice you need if you ask. Browsers and lovers of vintage are welcome at any time.
Stock changes every week, new stock going in each Monday and Tuesday when Annie is in the shop. If you wish to see Annie please telephone to make an appointment on either of these days.
The shop is open 10 to 5 every day except Sundays. Prices are very reasonable.

You will see from the photographs that we customise some vintage clothes; these usually fall into the 50's and 60's age bracket.
Murals can be hand painted on linen to order from a photograph, and linen cushions can be painted in the same manner.
We look forward to seeing you and all we ask of you is care in the handling of the clothes when browsing.

There is all day parking very near the shop. Go past the shop leaving it on your right. Stop at the give way sign. Then take the first right into large free carpark. Otherwise you can park for one hour in Broad Street itself.
When you enter the shop be prepared to enter into another world!!!!!! You won't be disappointed.
